About Us
Founded in 2003 by Seventh-day Adventist Believers, after our church at the time {BTLM} decided that you didn't need to live what you preached. We would consider ourselves "Historic" or "Conservative" SDA Believers.
We are just a small group that meets in a small building on one of the member's farm. As our name suggests, we are in southern Illinois near Johnston City off I-57. We meet every Sabbath at 9:30am & have a potluck dinner the second Sabbath of each month. If you are interested in meeting with us, contact us thru the contact page. We don't have our own preacher but usually have a video presentation for the worship service. Proceedings are guided by our Deacon. We study for Sabbath School the quarterley from "The Reform SDA Movement" but are not associated with them otherwise.
We support a full-time Pastor over in Kenya that has a small church & is starting a school. He also travels around doing evangelism. We send all the materials that we can. If you are able to send us books or pamphlets, Bibles (King James), or other materials we would be glad to send them over. We especially are looking for children's materials like Sabbath School lessons and magazines.
In presenting web sites here we are not endorsing everything they may state or have. Overall they present views consistent with SDA's and have a lot of good SDA material but I don't have time to check out every little thing they say or have. Please let me know if you run into problem areas. I appreciate it.
